Access Bars: Creating Space for More Ease

One thing I have learned through my own healing journey is how much we carry with us—not only physically, but mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

Our minds can become filled with thoughts, worries, expectations, old beliefs, and patterns we have repeated for years. Sometimes we don't even realize how much noise is there until we finally experience a little quiet.

That is one of the things that drew me to Access Bars.

Access Bars is a gentle, hands-on practice that involves lightly touching 32 points on the head. Within the Access Bars system, these points are associated with different areas of life, such as healing, creativity, communication, control, awareness, money, sex, and relationships.

For me, I think of it as an opportunity to quiet some of the mental chatter, deeply relax, and create space for something different.

What Does It Mean to “Run Your Bars”?

I sometimes describe an Access Bars session like clearing out a cluttered computer.

We accumulate thoughts and beliefs throughout our lives:

I'm not good enough.
I have to do everything.
What if something goes wrong?
I should be doing more.
This is just who I am.

Some of those thoughts may have been running in the background for so long that we no longer notice them.

Access Bars uses the idea of releasing—or “deleting”—old thoughts, beliefs, and patterns that may no longer serve us. I don't think of that as literally erasing memories or changing who you are. Rather, a session can provide a quiet, deeply relaxing space where you don't have to analyze, fix, accomplish, or figure anything out.

Sometimes creating space is enough to start seeing and feeling things differently.

Could You Use a Little More Quiet?

Maybe you recognize yourself in this:

Your body is exhausted, but the minute your head hits the pillow, your mind starts going.

You spend much of your day feeling stressed, anxious, overwhelmed, or constantly “on.”

You've tried meditation, journaling, yoga, breathing exercises, and other wellness practices—but sometimes even your self-care starts feeling like another thing you have to accomplish.

Or maybe nothing is particularly wrong.

You simply want to feel calmer, lighter, and more present in your own life.

That's reason enough.

What Is a Session Like?

You don't need to prepare, practice, or figure anything out.

Just show up as you are.

You remain fully clothed and relax comfortably while I gently place my fingers on different points on your head. Sessions are typically 30–60 minutes, depending on what feels right for you.

Some people describe feeling deeply relaxed during a session. Others notice a quieter mind, greater ease, or simply the wonderful feeling of having an hour when they don't have to do anything.

Every person's experience is different, and I don't believe wellness should come with promises about exactly how you are supposed to feel afterward.

My intention is simply to offer you a peaceful space to rest, receive, and see what becomes possible when you give yourself permission to let go for a while.

Access Bars Can Be Flexible

Sessions don't have to happen in a traditional wellness office.

I can work with you in my space, in your home, or at your business, which can make Access Bars especially easy to incorporate into your life.

I also love the possibility of bringing sessions into workplaces, salons, studios, wellness events, retreats, or other environments where people could benefit from slowing down and experiencing something different.

You Don't Have to Figure It All Out

I think this may be my favorite part of Access Bars.

You don't have to know exactly what needs to change.

You don't have to explain your whole story.

You don't have to work harder at healing.

For a little while, you can simply be still, receive, and give your mind and body a chance to relax.

Sometimes we don't need another thing to do.

Sometimes we need a little more space.

More ease. More curiosity. More possibilities.

30 minutes: $65 in person

Primal Bod — Returning to a More Natural Way of Living

My wellness journey has taught me that feeling better isn't always about adding more. Sometimes it's about returning to the basics—nourishing our bodies, moving regularly, building strength, spending time outdoors, getting adequate rest, and becoming more aware of what our bodies need.

That philosophy is one reason Primal Bod resonated with me.

Primal Bod is a wellness and weight-loss coaching program centered around primal living, natural solutions, education, movement, nutrition, and creating sustainable habits. Rather than focusing only on a “diet,” the program encourages us to look at our entire lifestyle—including the habits and beliefs we've accumulated over the years.

Why It Became Part of My Life

I don't just want to talk about wellness. I want to live it.

For me, that means getting outside, walking and hiking, lifting weights, challenging my body in ways that feel good, eating foods that support my goals, and continuing to learn what helps me feel stronger physically and mentally.

Primal Bod has helped me bring many of those pieces together.

Since beginning the program, I've become even more intentional about nutrition, protein, strength, walking daily, and the everyday choices that influence how I feel. I've also come to appreciate that transformation isn't simply about losing weight.

It's about building a life that supports the person you want to become.

More Than a Diet

What I especially appreciate about the Primal Bod philosophy is looking beyond food.

Our modern lives can make it remarkably easy to become disconnected—from our bodies, movement, nature, and even our own intuition.

Primal living invites us to become curious about that.

What habits have become automatic?
What does my body actually need?
How can I move more naturally?
How can I become stronger?
What happens when I spend more time outside?
What choices help me feel energized and alive?

I love that approach because it reflects something I believe deeply:

Your body is always communicating with you. Learning to listen can change the way you care for it.

Why I'm Sharing It

I became a Primal Bod affiliate because the program aligns with many of the practices I have incorporated into my own life.

I'm not sharing it because I believe everyone needs to eat exactly as I do or follow one particular path to wellness. I'm sharing my experience because it has been a meaningful part of my journey, and I want others to have the opportunity to explore it for themselves.
